We are seeking a driven, collaborative [Senior / Principal Scientist] with a passion for hands‑on discovery science to design, implement, and execute innovative antibody campaigns utilizing single B cell screening and advanced flow cytometry. Your expertise in both the strategic and technical aspects of antibody discovery will propel our pipeline—and your career—forward.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and optimize a cutting-edge single B-cell workflow, focusing on antigen-specific enrichment and molecular recovery of antibody variable regions
- Develop, QC, and manage critical reagents and resources for B-cell workflows and antibody characterization—including protein labeling, cell-line management, and antibody conjugation.
- Perform, analyze, and interpret antibody screens for binding and functional activity using ELISA, flow cytometry, and diverse biochemical/cell-based assays.
- Select and maintain cell lines optimized for high target expression and robust screening outcomes.
- Lead the adoption of new technologies, automation tools, and innovative processes to continually advance antibody discovery efficiency.
- Coach, mentor, and guide junior scientific staff.
- Effectively communicate progress, discoveries, and challenges to multidisciplinary internal and external project teams and company leadership.
- Demonstrated technical mastery in multicolor flow cytometry—including panel design and operation on high-performance FACS systems (e.g., BD FACSAria™, Sony platforms) for precise rare B-cell isolation.
- MS (with 4+ years industry experience) or PhD (with 3+ years industry experience) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or similar field—and a proven scientific record.
- Strong hands‑on experience with single B-cell platforms (e.g., Bruker/Berkeley Lights Beacon, Sphere Fluidics Cyto-Mine, or similar high-throughput systems) to isolate and recover antigen‑specific antibody candidates.
- Practical expertise in molecular recovery and sequence analysis post‑single cell screening (e.g., RT‑PCR, plate‑based cloning, next‑gen sequencing workflows).
- Advanced lab skills in cell culture, molecular biology, high‑throughput screening, and assay development.
- Experienced at balancing multiple high‑impact projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
- Strong communicator and effective collaborator, motivated by scientific discovery and innovation.
