Job Description & How to Apply Below

ivector builds AI solutions and custom applications for small and mid-sized companies, and provides the engineering talent to run them. Our clients come to us because they'd rather grow their business than manage a hiring pipeline, so we give them production-ready teams and software without the overhead of building an in-house department.

Our growth so far has come from referrals and founder-led sales. We're hiring someone to make it repeatable.

The Role

This is a revenue role. You own how new business gets found, opened, and closed — and how existing accounts grow.

You'll build pipeline across outbound, partnerships, and existing clients, run the conversations yourself, and carry a number. Marketing here is in service of deals: if a campaign doesn't produce qualified meetings, it doesn't survive. You'll have budget, tooling, and direct access to leadership to make that happen.

What You'll Own:
  • Carry a quarterly target for sourced pipeline and closed revenue, and own the plan to hit it
  • Build the forecast, keep the CRM clean, and report weekly on what's moving and what's stuck
Finding and opening opportunities
  • Run outbound into our ICP: founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Heads of Operations at US companies with 20-300 employees who need AI capability or dev capacity they can't hire fast enough
  • Own the sequences, the targeting, and the messaging, email, Linked In, calls, and events
  • Book and run discovery calls yourself: qualify the need, scope the problem, and know when it's a fit and when to walk
Closing and deal support
  • Take deals from first conversation through proposal, pricing conversation, and signature, pulling in delivery leads for technical scoping
  • Write the proposals and SOW narratives that win — positioned around the client's business outcome, not our tech stack
  • Handle objections that come with services buying: cost vs. in-house hiring, offshore concerns, IP and security questions, why us over a freelancer or another agency
Partnerships that produce deal flow
  • Source and close referral and reseller relationships: complementary agencies, consultancies, fractional CTO networks, VC and accelerator portfolios, and ISVs serving the same SMB market
  • Build presence in cloud and platform partner ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Hub Spot, Salesforce) and turn program membership into actual introductions
  • Manage partners on a cadence - enablement, co-marketing, joint pitches - and hold each one accountable to a referral target
Account retention and expansion
  • Own revenue inside existing accounts: renewals, team expansions, and new scopes of work
  • Run regular value check-ins with clients and use delivery signals to spot the next project before the current one ends
  • Turn satisfied clients into case studies, references, and warm introductions, then use them to shorten the next sales cycle
Opening new channels
  • Test channels we haven't tried - niche communities, webinars, industry conferences, review platforms (Clutch, G2), co-marketing, paid - and judge each one on cost per qualified meeting
  • Kill what doesn't work fast, scale what does, and document the reasoning so we don't repeat experiments
What We're Looking For
  • 5–6+ years in B2B sales, growth, or revenue marketing, with a meaningful stretch selling services IT agency, consultancy, custom development, or staff augmentation
  • Proven ability to source your own pipeline and close it, into the US market. Come ready to walk us through real numbers
  • Hands-on partnership or referral program experience — you've built the relationships, not inherited them
  • Comfortable in technical conversations about AI and custom software: you don't need to write code, but you need to hold a credible conversation with a CTO
  • Fluent with the stack:
Hub Spot or Salesforce, outbound tooling (Apollo, Clay, Instantly or similar), Linked In Sales Navigator, GA4
  • Excellent written English and the judgment to write to a technical buyer without sounding like a brochure
  • Self-directed. You'll get goals and budget, not a task list.
Nice to have
  • Existing relationships in the US tech, startup, or SMB services ecosystem
  • Background selling AI/ML delivery or dedicated engineering teams
What We Offer
  • Base salary plus uncapped commission on closed revenue
  • Real budget for tools, events, and channel experiments
  • Direct access to leadership, no layers between your idea and a decision
