EHS Program Coordinator
Our client, a leading organization in environmental health and safety, is seeking a dedicated EHS Program Coordinator to join their team. As an EHS Program Coordinator, you will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety department supporting regional initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Coordinate and perform activities supporting environmental health and safety initiatives within the organization.
- Assist in emergency response planning, fire prevention, and operational readiness efforts.
- Oversee deployment of the EHS framework across the region, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement localized EHS programs, guidelines, and training.
- Conduct hazard assessments and provide mitigation strategies aligned with business practices.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong leadership, training, and decision-making skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of environmental, health, and safety management practices and principles.
- Experience managing multiple EHS projects in complex environments.
- Excellent organizational, research, and analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
