Security Officer

Overview

Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer for our Events Team. We expand our Event Services Team to deliver Best-in-Class customer service to high-end clients in fast-paced environments. As a Security Officer – Concierge, your primary focus will be customer service, interacting with people across all shifts in a variety of settings.

• Campus Locations:
  San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, CA
• Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight); guaranteed or set schedules will not be offered for this position
• Competitive hourly wage of $23 / hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Customer service duties including welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have security, military, or law enforcement experience – even better
• Have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Flexible availability: willing and able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as required. Shifts may vary week to week; guaranteed or fixed schedules are not available. Flexibility is essential to support changing client needs and maintain service excellence.
