• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and communicate with staff regarding security‑related concerns and policy questions.
• Support emergency and medical‑related response efforts by helping with crowd management, access control, and coordination with first responders and designated personnel.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Consideration of qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
