Job Schedule:- Mon: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
- Tue: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
- Wed: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
- Thu: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
- Fri: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes while following post orders and client-directed protocols.
- Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public emergency services as needed regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A current CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
