As a Security Officer Part Time Medical Rover in Mountain View, CA

In this role, you will help to deter incidents while contributing to a caring, team‑oriented environment built on reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM;
Thur 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, provide directions, and assist with visitor‑related questions in a professional manner.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or local responders when needed, and complete required reports related to incidents, patrol activities, and notable events.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
