Python Automation Engineer

Automation Test Developer designs, develops, and executes automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of software applications. They work closely with development teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and implement automated testing solutions. Their role also involves using automation tools and scripts, improving existing test infrastructure, and contributing to product design reviews.

• Design and develop automated tests for complex requirements involving multiple hardware and software stacks
• Identify opportunities for automation, replacing or supplementing manual testing
• Execute automated tests, run scripts to identify defects and verify functionality
• Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement
• Debug test scripts and troubleshoot automation issues
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects and improve product quality
• Contribute to product design reviews, providing input on testability and implementation
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable testing components
• Improve test infrastructure and optimize the testing environment and tools
• Update test scripts to stay relevant as the software evolves
• Document test procedures and scenarios with clear, concise documentation

• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with hardware and software stacks for mobile devices and related software
• Strong understanding of Android operating system features
• Understanding of Android CI/CD/CT pipelines
• Experience in managing test setups and labs

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $/yr
