- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in Type Script and Kotlin.
- 3 years of experience designing, building, testing, maintaining, and launching scalable front‑end applications.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with WebGL or similar web-based 3D graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL ES).
- Experience programming for 2D graphics.
- Experience with front‑end core technologies such as React.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant educational or training. Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable front-end and back-end services using Angular, React, and Kotlin to power the Mixboard multi-modal canvas.
- Collaborate closely with research teams to apply Large Language Model and multi-modal techniques, transforming experimental AI solutions into production-ready product features.
- Lead the design and implementation of agentic applications and advanced AI prompting strategies that intuitively understand user intent to perform creative tasks.
- Manage high-performance data storage and retrieval through Spanner integration and take ownership of deploying, monitoring, and maintaining services in production.
- Partner with front‑end engineers and cross-Product Area teams to define seamless APIs and iterate quickly on "zero-to-one" projects within the Google Labs incubator.
