Hundreds of people strong, with a substantial presence in five countries, the Global Ads P&E team is a dynamic and complex organization, operating across a broad spectrum of product and strategic domains.

Our Architecture team is responsible for defining, refining, and guiding the execution of long, medium, and short-term visions for our systems, as well as for major investments across our product suite. In this role, you’ll report directly to our US Site Lead Architect in Mountain View, and you will be a close partner with Senior Engineering and Product Leadership.

Our tech stack includes a mixture of Python, Erlang, Go, Java, Scala, Snowflake, Spark and Kubernetes running on AWS cloud. This role requires an incumbent who has previously architected big data systems in AdTech specifically as it is focused on Ad Serving and Ad Solution initiatives that touch our DSP , Audience and Ad Measurement platforms.

You will enjoy this job if you have a deep innate passion for software engineering, distributed systems, systems architecture, and big data. You will need to demonstrate a wide breadth across multiple engineering disciplines, while also having depth in several key areas. You should have an eye and a knack for some product work (both authoritative and working with product teams in refining and defining their vision).
