Job Title – QA Automation Engineer
Location:
Culver City, CA 90230 OR Mountain View, CA 94041 OR Bellevue, WA 98004
Remote to start, possibility to move to Hybrid (2 days/week).
Salary Range: $65-$83.50/hr.
One-year assignment on W2 with a possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
We are looking for a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, as this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional and international teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, hands‑on experience with automation frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products in an agile environment.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Bilingual:
English and Chinese Mandarin skills are REQUIRED!! - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into test cases
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Test Rail, or Zephyr
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL
- Experience with performance and security testing
- Experience with mobile testing on both Android and iOS platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab
- Familiarity with cloud‑based environments such as AWS or Azure

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products
- Analyze test results and report issues to the development team
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality software products
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing
- Identify and report software defects to the development team
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Continuously improve the testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the software
