Senior Workday Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Developer with 7+ years of experience in enterprise integrations, HR systems, and automation. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable integrations between Workday and various internal/external systems using Workday studio.

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations (inbound/outbound)
• Develop integrations using:
  • Workday Studio
  • Core Connectors (REST/SOAP)
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Integrate Workday with systems such as payroll, benefits, finance, and third‑party SaaS tools
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and failures
• Implement data transformation, mapping, and error handling strategies
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are followed
• Maintain technical documentation and integration architecture diagrams
• Support Workday releases and regression testing

• 7+ years of experience in Workday integrations and development
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Workday Studio
  • Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
• Experience building end-to-end automation workflows and APIs
• Strong understanding of HRIS and Finance systems integration

• XML, XSLT, JSON
• Web services (REST/SOAP)
• Experience with authentication methods (OAuth, SAML, etc.)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in enterprise SaaS environments
• Familiarity with security, data privacy, and compliance standards
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Experience with reporting tools (Workday Reports, Prism Analytics)
• Exposure to AI/automation use cases in HR tech stack
• 3+ years of experience with Workato or similar iPaaS tools

Pay range is $75 - $82 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
