About Wayfair's Product Ranking Team
Wayfair's Product Ranking team builds the core platforms and services that enable customers to discover and buy products they love. In the past year alone, the team has contributed to hundreds of millions in incremental revenue by leveraging Wayfair's extensive customer and product data to deliver trusted, valuable recommendations in real-time using custom machine learning models. These models are productionalized as microservices, supported by data pipelines for inference and model training.
Our services are utilized across storefront and marketing channels, receiving over a billion calls daily. They must support both real‑time customer traffic and batch email jobs, presenting unique challenges in scalability, throughput, and response times.
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to help build our next‑generation product recommendations platform. This is a highly impactful and fully autonomous team whose models, services, and platforms leverage massive amounts of customer and catalog data in real‑time to personalize the customer experience. We have ambitious goals to shape the future of Wayfair and are looking for an engineering manager to accelerate our progress.
