We are seeking an AI / Software Engineering Intern to join our Workforce AI organization in Dublin, CA. This role provides hands‑on experience building AI‑enabled, cloud‑based workforce intelligence solutions, with meaningful exposure to system design and UX design practices. The intern will work closely with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to help deliver solutions that are not only technically sound, but also intuitive, accessible, and user‑centered.

• Assist in developing backend services, APIs, and AI‑enabled features under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support implementation of features that align with UX design specifications and user flows.
• Collaborate with UX designers to understand user needs, workflows, and usability considerations.
• Help translate UX designs, wireframes, and interaction patterns into well‑structured, maintainable code.
• Participate in discussions around system design, technical architecture, and user experience trade‑offs.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Contribute to technical documentation, UX‑related implementation notes, and design diagrams.
• Assist with testing and validation to ensure features meet usability, performance, and quality standards.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human‑Computer Interaction, Data Science, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Java and/or Python.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, APIs, modular design).
• Basic familiarity with UX principles such as usability, accessibility, and user‑centered design.
• Strong interest in AI, machine learning, or Generative AI technologies.
