As a software engineer you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as our business grows. You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions, and work on Local Search Ads—an impactful area focused on local queries on This role offers a unique opportunity to define an important product aspect and generate long‑term strategic value through technical problem solving at the crossroads of data, information retrieval, quality (ML), large‑scale infrastructure, and innovative UX design.
Your mission is to enrich local experience for all users with useful location‑related ads and signals that deliver value to advertisers and support Google’s growth.
- Provide technical leadership on high‑impact projects.
