SDE-II, Healthcare AI; AWS

As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, we build Amazon Connect Health, leveraging cloud computing and AI to improve healthcare outcomes. The role focuses on designing and developing scalable, efficient software systems for Healthcare AI services.

• Design and develop scalable, efficient software systems for healthcare AI services
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code for cloud‑based healthcare applications
• Collaborate with product managers, applied scientists, and other engineers to implement product features
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Help maintain operational excellence and compliance with industry standards
• Work on data processing, analytics, and machine learning systems for healthcare applications
• Contribute to technical discussions and help drive continuous improvement

• Collaborate with world‑class researchers and engineers

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship)
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
