Senior Software Engineer, Android

In this role, you will build Gemini applications that will redefine AI interaction for billions. Artificial intelligence will be one of humanity's most transformative inventions. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Be the pioneer of bringing the latest material design language and experience to the Gemini App.
• Architect and build scalable mobile systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of native platform capabilities and best practices.
• Develop and maintain supporting server-side logic to power mobile features and optimize data for the client.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Google Material teams to translate complex AI capabilities into user-friendly mobile experiences.
• Own and build CoreUI libraries to fast track development and bring new model capabilities from the initial prototype to launch on Gemini's mobile apps.
