As a Web Solutions Engineer on the You Tube Business Technology team, you will be responsible for managing solutions that make the broader You Tube organization more efficient. Your efforts will launch quickly and have an immediate and obvious impact on those around you. You’ll be working as a part of an engineering team responsible for developing and supporting tools, prototyping proofs of concept, and writing/reviewing technical design documents to meet the needs of our services teams.

You will adhere to Google’s software development best practices and work in close partnership with other project/product management and engineering teams.

The team designs and develops a variety of tools and systems that are used by You Tube support agents, partners, and users. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

• Design, build, deploy, and improve elegant, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools. This may include ensuring reliable backends, building pipelines to aggregate data from multiple sources, implementing responsive and UX-rich front-ends, or enhancing performance of existing tools and services.
• Analyze problems and develop solutions, while identifying dependencies and resolving issues to drive implementation.
• Provide subject-matter expertise and utilize comprehensive knowledge of Google's relevant technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional users and stakeholders to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions.
