Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, data-driven Commuter Benefits & Micro-Mobility Coordinator to manage the day-to-day onsite transportation, commute, and parking programs for our global tech client's campuses.

In this role, you will be the primary architect of behavior change—utilizing modern Transportation Demand Management (TDM) techniques (such as commuter coaching and motivational interviewing) to encourage multimodal commutes, reduce single-occupancy vehicle parking demand, and ease local traffic congestion. You will balance high-touch employee engagement and internal website management with critical field operations, including micro-mobility layout coordination and active parking enforcement.

Key Responsibilities

Commuter Programs & Micro-Mobility Administration

  • Ride-Hailing & Micromobility:
Serve as the day-to-day administrator for corporate Lyft and Waymo ride-hailing programs. Partner directly with the internal Bike Operations team to coordinate micro-mobility deployment and bike corral layouts at regional hubs.
  • Program Management:
Support and monitor regional commute programs, including Vanpool, public transit benefits, carpooling incentives, and one-on-one commute coaching.
  • Digital Operations:
Build, launch, and maintain internal transportation web pages and site portals to ensure employees have seamless access to commute resources.

Parking Operations & Field Enforcement

  • Access Control:
Manage employee-facing parking permit databases and lot access control permissions.
  • Field Enforcement:
Spend time in the field actively monitoring parking assets, auditing space utilization, and executing parking enforcement policies to ensure lots remain secure, compliant, and optimized.
  • Policy Development:
Support the creation and implementation of localized parking policies, rewards, and alternative transit incentives.

Site Strategy & Local Outreach

  • Regional Management:
Plan and manage day-to-day transportation operations onsite for your home base while providing remote operational support to the secondary site.
  • Employee Engagement:
Plan and coordinate commuter fairs, bike safety campaigns, and present transportation overviews at New Employee Orientations. Craft engaging content for campus newsletters and internal forums.
  • Data & Metrics:
Gather and analyze site-based transportation data using spreadsheets. Identify relevant trends, develop insights, and make actionable, data-driven recommendations to leadership.

Cross-Functional & Vendor Interlock

  • Internal Partners:
Maintain regular interlock with Corporate Benefits, Workplace Services, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging teams, Local Security, and Facilities.
  • External TDM Networks:
Manage relationships with external transit agencies, local jurisdictions, and regional Transportation Management Organizations (TMOs/TMAs).
  • Budget & Contracts:
Manage the local site transportation budget, track vendor contracts/renewal dates, generate purchase orders, track invoices, and adjust financial forecasts.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated transportation planner or campus operations specialist who is equally comfortable deep in a spreadsheet, presenting to a room of stakeholders, or walking the parking lots to audit compliance.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience:

5–9 years of experience in transportation planning, urban planning, corporate/academic TDM, marketing, communications, or facilities management.
  • TDM Acumen:
Strong understanding of transportation demand management techniques, commuter behavior change psychology, and multimodal travel concepts.
  • Communication:
Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills. Ability to resolve employee inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Data Proficiency:
Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and track metrics using spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets,…
