The OpportunityStep into a role where you’re not just processing numbers, but you’re helping build the financial backbone of a growing clean energy technology company. As Aimbridge Energy’s first dedicated Staff Accountant, you won’t be tucked away in a back office, you’ll sit at the intersection of operations and finance, working directly with the CFO to shape how this company scales.
This is more than a part-time accounting role. It’s a chance to step into a young, rapidly expanding organization where your fingerprints will be on the systems, processes, and financial controls that will guide us into the future. From AP/AR to purchasing support to inventory integration and SOP creation, you’ll help us build the financial engine that powers innovation, manufacturing and inventory workflows and emerging product lines.

Key Responsibilities General Accounting- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in Quick Books Online Advanced.
- Process employee expense reimbursements, vendor bills, and customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and assist in monthly close processes.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Assist CFO in creating and maintaining SOPs for accounting, purchasing, and finance workflows.
- Support purchasing activities and vendor onboarding.
- Collaborate with operations on inventory tracking, purchase order accuracy, and cost coding.
- Assist with data entry and reporting in Fishbowl Inventory (experience a plus).
- Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and journal entries as directed by the CFO.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to improving accounting procedures.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Manufacturing and inventory management experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency and recent experience in Quick Books Online Advanced required.
- Experience with Fishbowl Inventory (a plus).
- Solid working knowledge with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfort using modern software tools (ChatGPT, SaaS accounting and productivity platforms).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Part-time: 2-3 day per week (flexible schedule).
- Hybrid:
Minimum of 1 to 2 days per week in the Mountlake Terrace office. - Reports To:
Chief Financial Officer. - Future Opportunity:
May transition to full-time employment as company growth continues.
