Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks such as data entry, credit card accounting, and customer service. This position requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong organizational skills to support the financial operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

- Process and input financial data with precision to ensure accurate records.

- Perform credit card accounting tasks, including reconciliations and transaction reviews.

- Assist customers with inquiries, providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

- Verify and correct discrepancies in financial records.

- Prepare reports and summaries for management review.

- Support other accounting functions as needed to meet departmental goals. Requirements - Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.

- Experience in credit card accounting, including reconciliations.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address inquiries effectively.

- Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
