Position Summary

The Customer Relations Coordinator must have a passion for ‘wowing’ internal and external customers. This role is also responsible for responding to phone calls, emails, and written correspondence along with other administrative duties. The coordinator helps customers get the most out of a product or service and builds long‑term relationships to ensure satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serves as first point of contact for Consumer Lending between Indirect Dealers, customers, and internal bank departments
  • Promote a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service to customers and co‑workers.

  • Respond to customer complaints with professionalism, empathy, and patience.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with the resolution.
  • Maintains knowledge of bank products and services to ensure proper correspondence.
  • Following up to provide status updates and confirming complete resolution.
  • Build rapport and maintain strong customer focused relationships.
  • Coordinate daily operations for Consumer Lending team ensuring accurate process workflow.
  • Manage multiple incoming queues while executing requests with a high level of accuracy.
  • Support the Consumer Analyst and Processing teams with daily loan approvals and fundings.
  • Follows Banks policies and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of consumer loan products, systems, and terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of all applicable regulations pertaining to this position is required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
  • Must be proficient at multitasking with a large emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
  • High School Diploma.
  • 3–5 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help customers’ needs.
  • Knowledge of administrative functions and best practices.
  • Strong information management, organization, planning and detail orientation.
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, ability to multi‑task, and manage responsibilities.
  • Professional personal presentation; proper manners, and appropriate discretion and confidentiality.
Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other database software.
