Position Summary
Assist the Commercial Deposits Team in fostering relationship banking by delivering dynamic customer service to commercial banking clients. The Commercial Deposit Specialist will report to the Assistant Commercial Deposit Manager and then to the Commercial Deposit Manager. The role involves on‑boarding clients, deepening relationships, handling correspondence, and cross‑selling opportunities across bank products such as checking, online banking, ACH, wires, EFTPS, and remote deposit capture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform duties in accordance with the Bank’s Core Values and service standards.
- Support the Bank’s customer culture and recognize cross‑selling opportunities.
- Assist with transfers, check orders, account maintenance, account opening, and other servicing needs for commercial clients.
- Provide direct assistance to the Commercial Deposits portfolio of customers via multiple communication channels.
- Educate and train customers on treasury management services, banking risks, and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve the One Bank mission.
- Participate in community events and business organizations.
- Maintain knowledge of financial industry status and trends.
- Refer inquiries to the appropriate department and follow up with customers and staff.
- Assist in compliance audit efforts.
- Assume responsibility for special projects, gather data, and prepare reports.
- Multitask and prioritize job responsibilities.
- Provide timely and responsive customer service.
- Support management decisions and represent the Bank with integrity.
- Maintain knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma and 2 years of banking experience; preferable business banking. Other combinations considered.

- Computer skills:
Windows software, word processing, spreadsheets, internet, email, and bank software. - Effective oral and written communication.

- Knowledge of deposit policies and procedures preferred.
The employee will primarily work in a general office environment using a phone and computer. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate. The employee must be willing to interact frequently with the general public.
Salary Range: $22.00 to $35.00 (Reflects levels I, II, and III. Compensation determined by experience.)
