Position: Consumer Lending Loan Processor I

Position Summary

Responsible for all processing tasks on consumer loans submitted by dealers and branches. Strives to provide “wow” service internally and externally.

This position does not process mortgage loan applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service to customers and co-workers.
  • Maintain knowledge of Bank employees, products, and services to ensure proper.
  • Willingness to work across business lines for efficiency and partnership.
  • Attention to detail, audit consumer loan documents received from branches and dealers for processing.
  • Verify home ownership through review of property.
  • Knowledge of Trusts, Power of Attorney, county property information, UCC filings.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work between several contacts.
  • Basic understanding of consumer loan products.
  • Basic knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position.
  • Follow and lead with the Bank’s core values.
  • Follow the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience
  • Great attitude and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, team centered environment.
  • Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
  • High School Diploma.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative functions and best practices.
  • Strong information management, organization, planning and detail orientation.
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, ability to multi‑task, and manage.
  • Professional personal presentation; proper manners, and discretion.
  • Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other database software. Solid word processing and computer database skills with accurate keyboarding at 30+ wpm.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
