Purpose
The Specialist – Training & People Success supports employee growth, engagement, and performance by designing, coordinating, and continuously improving learning and development initiatives within the YMA region. This role partners with managers and HR colleagues to ensure employees have the skills, tools, and support needed to succeed and feel engaged throughout the employee lifecycle role blends training coordination, people development, and employee experience, with a strong focus on execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with managers to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
- Design and deliver training programs (classroom, virtual, and blended) aligned with business goals.
- Develop training materials such as presentations, manuals, e‑learning modules, and job aids.
- Coordinate external training with vendors, institutes, and certification bodies.
- Manage training logistics including scheduling, venue setup, materials, and communication.
- Maintain training calendars and ensure timely execution of all learning activities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance indicators.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end graduate trainee programs including trainee recruitment support, onboarding, rotations, and evaluations.
- Manage internship cycles including selection, onboarding, assignment allocation, and exit evaluations.
- Ensure timely completion of mandatory onboarding modules and documentation.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives including surveys, action planning, and follow‑up programs.
- Facilitate career development initiatives of employees and succession planning.
- Support HR process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field - Experience:
3-6 Years of Experience will be preferable.
- Readiness to learn and deliver:
Must be willing to continuously learn and develop required deliverables in line with departmental needs. - Ownership and accountability:
Must be prepared to take responsibility for assigned tasks and adhere to committed timelines. - Proactive mindset:
Must be oriented towards sharing ideas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements. - Communication skills:
Must demonstrate clear, confident, and effective communication in both verbal and written formats.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic HR environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR systems is desirable.
