Corporate Assistant Controller

Our Client is seeking a strong technical Corporate Assistant Controller located in Mukilteo, WA. This position is onsite. Candidates should have experience from public accounting, a CPA license, and private industry experience.

• Minimum 8+ years related work experience from publicly traded companies.
• CPA and public accounting are required.
• Experience overseeing shared services (Accounting Operations, AP, AR, Payroll).
• Public accounting experience in audit, internal controls in SOX‑compliant environment, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience in financial statement preparation.
• Excellent communication and ability to deliver results presentations.
• Strong Excel and large ERP system skills.

• Financial statement preparation, intercompany and consolidation, analysis, and detailed monthly & quarterly reporting.
• Strong general ledger month‑end close for multiple entities including oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank and reconciliations.
• Prepare cash flow analysis, P&L forecasts & budgeting.
• Set and comply with internal controls, policies & procedures.
• Liaise with Corporate Headquarters and with external CPA firm.
• Supervise department general accounting staff including GL staff, accounts receivable (AR) & accounts payable (AP).
• Manage all account & bank reconciliations.

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $140,000 to $170,000 base, plus bonus and strong benefits.
