SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Administrator prepares and processes purchase orders, coordinates and processes shipments, receives and processes deliveries, plans jobs inside of ERP system and provides other administrative support, as required. Reports to the Operations Supervisor.

- Prepare Request-for-Quotations (RFQs) on behalf of management or engineers and work with viable vendors to obtain pricing and delivery quotations
- Review purchase requisitions and turn them into Purchase orders.
- Ensures Approved Supplier list is up to date
- Tracks purchase orders; communicate any changes to delivery status to purchase requestor via email
- Coordinate shipments as directed by the shipping form:
- Arrange for shipment with UPS or a freight carrier
- Obtain required approvals for overnight shipments
- Prepare and print pack slips and shipping labels, help package shipments, as needed
- Update shipment status daily
- Track shipment of customer or government property on the Customer Property spreadsheet
- Receives deliveries
- Verifies that items and quantity received matches the pack slip
- Verifies that all required paperwork is included, and is complete and legible; works with supplier to obtain all required paperwork as needed
- Manages site inventory as needed; issues material, returns material, kits jobs, etc
- Ensures jobs are planned in accordance with Karman Quality Processes

Education:
HS diploma - Preferred Education:
Associates Degree or higher - Preferred Experience:
>2 years in an office administration position - Must be willing to handle dangerous goods
- General admin duties as needed
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
