Tour Guide Visitor Relations

Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Schedule: Full-Time, 32 40 Hours Per Week
Work Environment: 100% Onsite
Shift Availability: Thursday Monday (Weekends & Holidays Required)

Position Overview

Are you passionate about aviation, public speaking, and creating memorable guest experiences?

We are seeking energetic, customer-focused Tour Guides Visitor Relations to help deliver world-class experiences at one of the Pacific Northwest's most popular aviation attractions. In this role, you'll serve as a brand ambassador, leading factory tours, facilitating interactive exhibits, engaging with visitors of all ages, and helping bring the story of aerospace innovation to life.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in customer service, public speaking, education, hospitality, tourism, museums, events, or guest relations.

Schedule & Availability
  • 32 40 hours per week
  • Current schedule: Thursday through Monday
  • Must be available to work:
    • Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
    • Holidays
    • Early mornings, mid-days, and occasional evenings
  • Typical shift:
    • Start: 8:00 AM
    • End: 6:00 6:30 PM
  • Schedule may vary based on visitor demand, events, and operational needs
What You'll Do Tour & Presentation Delivery
  • Lead engaging factory tours and interactive presentations for visitors.
  • Present scripted content while adapting delivery to different audiences.
  • Lead tours of up to 52 guests and theater presentations of up to 200 attendees.
  • Deliver accurate information about aviation, aerospace innovation, and company history.
Visitor Experience & Guest Services
  • Welcome guests and create a positive, memorable visitor experience.
  • Assist with ticketing, guest check-in, orientation, and way finding.
  • Answer visitor questions and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Serve as a professional representative of the organization at all times.
Interactive Exhibits & STEM Engagement
  • Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, including robotics, drone activities, and interactive exhibits.
  • Engage visitors with educational content and STEM-focused programming.
  • Support special events, educational programs, and community activities.
Operations & Team Support
  • Maintain tour schedules and ensure programs run on time.
  • Support daily operations and staffing rotations.
  • Assist with safety procedures and emergency response when needed.
  • Complete required training and participate in team meetings.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role requiring strong communication skills
  • Experience presenting, teaching, training, performing, facilitating, or speaking to groups
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ months of tour guide experience
  • 6+ months of public speaking or presentation experience
  • Experience working in museums, attractions, hospitality, tourism, events, education, or visitor services
  • Experience with ticketing systems, point-of-sale systems, exhibits, or event technology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Additional education or related experience is a plus
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for up to six hours per shift
  • Speak continuously for up to 90 minutes at a time, several times daily
  • Frequently walk throughout the facility
  • Occasionally climb stairs
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
  • Use computers, radios, microphones, mobile devices, and other equipment as needed

Candidates may be invited to participate in an optional 80-minute facility tour during their onsite visit.
