We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated hands‑on Manager - IT Cloud Services, Dev Ops, and Help Desk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all Cloud and OnPrem infrastructure and services, Dev/Ops, and internal Help Desk services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Plan, design, and participate hands‑on implementation of solutions to the overall cloud strategy.
- Plan, design, and execute infrastructural projects including but not limited to Azure, microservices, servers, databases, Kubernetes services, and provisioning.
- Design, configure, tune, and implement Azure and application observability, monitoring and logging solutions.
- Manage internal end‑user Help Desk Team, technologies, and services.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain services in production, UAT, QA and development environments, on Azure platform and On‑Prem.
- Enable infrastructure using Terraform and automation using scripts like Python and Power Shell.
- Oversight of CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops.
- Management of network infrastructure and ensuring alignment to security standards and guidelines.
- Oversight and mitigation of security vulnerabilities.
- Oversight of database strategy and maintenance operations, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Factory and Databricks services.
- Configure, maintain, and monitor RESTful APIs.
- Design, configure and maintain multiple Azure services like Azure API Management, App Services, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage include Blob and File Shares, Communication services, etc.
- Troubleshoot performance and availability issues in production and investigate unexpected behavior in all environments.
- Ensure documentation of processes, procedures, configurations, and deployment plans.
- Gather front‑end requirements and interact with corporate technology partners, where applicable. Propose, learn, and leverage technology tools to expand our capability to deliver on our responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Deep working knowledge and expertise in operating systems, network concepts, protocols, and architecture. Microsoft/Linux operating systems, active directory, OSI.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Technical ability in Java, Spring Boot, Angular and Node JS, .NET/C# and knowledge of both current and legacy architecture, software development practices, and conventions.
- Strong experience with Rest APIs
- Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates.
- Experience with messaging systems like Rabbit
MQ or ActiveMQ - Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management protocols like SSO, OIDC, OAuth including RBAC roles and ACLs in Azure and Entra .
- Strong GIT experience and working knowledge of SRE/Dev Ops practices and CI/CD tools.
- Strong experience with observability/monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, etc.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as a Code practices and Terraform.
- Strong skills in one or more scripting languages (Power Shell, Python or equivalent).
- Strong experience with Container/Orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) including Azure Kubernetes service.
- Experience with Azure Application Firewall (WAF) rules.
- Experience with Jira.
- Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake
- Ability to collaborate effectively by engaging both application and infrastructure SMEs, as well as by assisting technical and non‑technical colleagues.
- Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Consistently provide friendly and engaging customer service to internal and external customers.
