As a Product Developer, you would be part of a team that is responsible for designing new furniture and aerospace products and finding creative and innovative solutions to customer needs. Job Duties
- Product Design and Development:
- Lead the design and development of new products from initial concept through to production.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including marketing, sales, and industrial design to ensure product designs meet customer needs and company goals.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed product designs and specifications.
- Manufacturing Engineering:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to select appropriate materials and production methods.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new products and processes.
- Industrial Engineering:
- Analyze and improve production systems, workflows, and assembly methods to enhance productivity.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaboration with Industrial Design:
- Work alongside industrial designers to ensure that product designs are manufacturable and meet technical specifications.
- Provide engineering input during the design phase to ensure feasibility and cost‑effectiveness.
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently.
- Bachelor’s degree or 3‑5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or matching relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, NX, Fusion
360). - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production methods.
- Familiarity with commercial aerospace requirements, commercial furniture requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Continuous learner mentality.
- Fabrication experience utilizing hand tools; CNC machinery and general woodshop experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Starting wage is $28.00 - $37.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Under 12 months: 1 hour PTO for every 30 worked.
- After 1 Year: 70 hours PTO
- After 3 Years: 110 hours PTO
- After 5 Years: 120 hours + 30 hours…
