Role Description

The Electrical Panel Assembler is responsible for the fabrication, wiring, and assembly of electrical control panels in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, high‑quality panel builds. Occasional field service support may be required for installation, troubleshooting, or modifications.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical panel assembly, industrial wiring, or a related role
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of electrical components, wiring methods, and panel layout best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and electrical standards
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive assembly tasks
  • Familiarity with UL508A Standards and similar electrical codes
Key Responsibilities
  • Build, wire, and assemble electrical control panels according to schematics, drawings, and bill of materials (BOMs)
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Ensure all assemblies meet quality, safety, and workmanship standards
  • Follow established safety protocols, electrical codes, and company procedures
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve design questions or discrepancies
  • Support Testing and Quality teams during panel inspection, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Assist with field service work, including on‑site installation, modifications, or repairs as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Document work completed and report issues or improvement opportunities
Base Pay

$57,600 - $65,280

The base pay range reflects the position's minimum and maximum target salary. Systems Interface considers several factors when determining base pay offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities and the candidate's experience, education, and skills. Field incentives and bonuses based on project, location, and experience.
