Job Overview

Large interior aircraft parts manufacturer in Everett, WA looking to grow its Quality team by adding an experienced Quality Specialist. The role involves maintaining high‑quality standards for manufacturing operations, using precision tools and quality control software, and working closely with the production team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Salary range: $26 – $32 per hour.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, components, and final products to ensure they meet set specifications.

Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM to measure and test product features for deviation from specifications.

Interpret and analyze schematic drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure conformity to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Utilize Inspection Xpert software for quality control and inspection processes.

Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.

Communicate inspection results and feedback to manufacturing team and management.

Participate in the development of corrective and preventive actions.

Assist in implementing quality control training programs for the production team.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; request repair service when necessary.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or engineering field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control inspection within the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic drawings.

Hands‑on experience with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM.

Proficient in using Inspection Xpert or similar quality control software.

Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Capable of handling physical requirements of the job, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
