Quality Control Inspector

Location: Mukilteo, WA, US

Experience: Mid Level

Salary: $26 - $32 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high-quality standards of our manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, components, and final products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM to measure and test product features for deviations.
  • Interpret and analyze schematic drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure conformity to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Utilize Inspection Xpert software for quality control and inspection processes.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Communicate inspection results and feedback to manufacturing team and management.
  • Participate in the development of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist in the implementation of quality control training programs for the production team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; request repair service when necessary.
Qualifications
  • An A.A. degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control inspection within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic drawings.
  • Hands‑on experience with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
  • Proficient in using Inspection Xpert or similar quality control software.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to handle physical requirements of the job, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
