Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors to support inspection and measurement system activities within our manufacturing environment. Positions are available on both our day and night shifts.

This position combines hands-on inspection work with responsibility for supporting the company's calibration system. The successful candidate will perform dimensional inspections using standard precision measuring equipment while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and external calibration providers to ensure measurement equipment remains compliant and available for production.

Previous inspection experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, and other standard inspection tools
  • Verify manufactured parts conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate inspection records
  • Work with engineering and production teams to resolve dimensional and quality concerns
  • Support the efficient flow of parts through the manufacturing process
  • Coordinate calibration services with multiple external calibration providers
  • Schedule and track calibration activities to ensure equipment remains compliant and available for production
  • Review calibration certificates for completeness and compliance with company requirements
  • Verify calibration records meet customer, regulatory, and traceability requirements
  • Process and maintain calibration documentation within company databases and record systems
  • Assist with audits and support compliance with quality management system requirements

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in manufacturing, machining, quality inspection, or a related technical field preferred
  • Familiarity with precision measuring and inspection equipment
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Calibration, metrology, or quality system experience is a plus but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, suppliers, and customers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Training Provided:

The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training in:

  • Calibration coordination and administration
  • Calibration record review
  • Regulatory and customer traceability requirements
  • Electroimpact quality procedures
  • Advanced inspection techniques and systems

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up-to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout a manufacturing environment for extended periods
  • Ability to use inspection equipment and computer systems daily
  • Flexible hours and overtime availability when needed
  • Background check and drug screen required

Schedule:

  • Day Shift: Monday
    - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (five 8-hour shifts)
  • Night Shift: Monday
    - Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM (four 10-hour shifts)

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

  • Pay: $27 - $32/hour DOE
