Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Retail Sales Specialist B's for a contract opportunity in Mukilteo, WA. 100% onsite.

Position Responsibilities

Client Stores seeks a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Specialist who thrives in creating welcoming and engaging experiences for employees and visitors. This role plays an important part in representing the Client brand through exceptional service, product knowledge, and day‑to‑day operations. As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will help ensure every customer interaction reflects the pride and professionalism of the Client community.

By understanding the customers' needs and offering helpful product guidance, you will help create a positive in‑store experience while supporting store operations and sales goals. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced retail environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering great experiences.

Daily Operations Responsibilities
  • Accountable for all daily cash control procedures and point‑of‑sale transactions.
  • Receives and processes incoming and outbound merchandise shipments.
  • Maintains stock balances and monitors inventory levels.
  • Facilitates special customer orders and merchandise transfers.
  • Processes Mark Out of Stocks (MOS) and Return to Vendor (RTV) merchandise.
  • Completes inventory documentation and coordinates inter‑store transfers.
  • Prepares for and supports annual store inventory counts.
  • Executes floor sets and maintains merchandising standards.
  • Maintains an organized stockroom and ensures merchandise is properly stored.
  • Coordinates store maintenance needs and communicates facility issues when necessary.
Retail Sales Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store following established procedures.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Support the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Process purchases using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges according to company policy.
  • Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries via email or other communication channels.
  • Process freight and inter‑store transfers for markdowns.
  • Maintain an organized stockroom and support store inventory preparation.
  • Prepare and process merchandise orders for customers.
  • Identify and report on safety and housekeeping issues.
  • Restock the store when necessary.
  • Routinely clean the store.
  • Report all customer complaints to the Store Manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
Training

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training.

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely lift boxes to 35 lbs. Ability to stand and move about for extended periods with only short rest breaks; ability to reach, bend, stoop, and handle products.

Required Education

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically one or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Work Hours

Full‑Time/First Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.
  • OT/DOT: periodically
  • Domestic travel: very limited, if any.
