TABLE GAMES DEALER CLASS - AVG $25/hr - $2,000 HIRING BONUS
Part‑time. Compensation: USD 25 per hour.
Table Games Dealer Class is unpaid until completion of training. After successfully completing the class, you can earn an average of $25 per hour.
Classes- Classes are currently open.
- Classes are Monday‑Thursday, 9 a.m.‑1 p.m. or 2 p.m.‑6 p.m.
- Upon completing the class, you will take an audition. Successful audition proceeds to new‑hire orientation.
- Pass a basic math assessment.
- Successfully complete an interview assessment.
- Demonstrate exceptional guest‑service skills including a positive demeanor and calm, steady temperament.
- Demonstrate and maintain strong ethical standards.
- Must be proficient in English.
- Attending Dealer School does not automatically guarantee employment.
- Must obtain and maintain a Level 2 gaming license.
- Deal game according to standard rules, company procedures, and applicable gaming regulations.
- Shuffle and deal cards accurately to customers.
- Quickly and accurately calculate the face value of cards.
- Exchange cash for proper denominations of chips.
- Pick up losing bets and cards from a customer’s betting square. Pay winning bets and place chips in appropriate betting square.
- Complete any required forms, records, and documents.
- Provide superior customer service, positively affect interactions with customers and employees, and handle difficult customers.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players using the highest degree of technical skill in dealing while adhering to established standard policies and procedures.
- Explain aspects of various games to gaming patrons, as called upon.
- Process all cash and maintain proper handling and accounting for assigned property items.
- Maintain familiarity with other gaming and entertainment/service activities for Belterra Casino Resort & Spa patrons, to provide information and correct answers to questions.
- Maintain an intimate and sound understanding of all standards, policies, and procedures, including general policies and procedures of the Table Games Department.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable company policies and gaming regulations.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time for most of the shift.
- Must be able to bend and reach across the gaming table.
- Must be able to use hands to deal and collect playing cards.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions.
