The Event Production Executive / Asst. Manager will be responsible for end-to-end event production, technical planning, vendor coordination , and on-ground execution for domestic and international events. The role requires strong hands-on technical knowledge, production expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale setups with precision and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Event Production Planning
Understand event requirements from the internal stake holders and translate them into technical and production plans.
Prepare detailed production briefs including stage design, fabrication, trussing, lighting, LED, sound, and AV.
Oversee feasibility checks, technical recce, and venue layout planning.
Technical Knowledge & Execution
Strong command over event technicals including:
Audio systems (line arrays, mixers, microphones)
Lighting (moving heads, profiles, pars, dimmers)
LED walls (pixel pitch, content formats, processors)
Truss & Rigging (safety, load requirements)
Stage Fabrication & Decor
Coordinate with technical vendors to ensure correct setup, testing, and rehearsals.
Troubleshoot live technical issues during the event.
Vendor & Production Management
Liaise with production houses, fabrication vendors, LED partners, sound & light teams, and event agencies.
Share clear production guidelines, negotiate competitive rates, and ensure delivery within timelines.
Oversee quality control for all technical and fabrication elements.
Design & Technical Coordination
Work closely with creative and design teams to convert concepts into accurate technical drawings and BOQs.
Review layouts, stage designs, branding placements, and ensure adherence during execution.
Validate technical rider requirements for artists, speakers, and performers.
On-Ground Event Execution
Supervise venue load-in, setup, rehearsals, and dismantling.
Coordinate technical cues during event showflow.
Ensure safety compliance, proper cabling, backstage management, and equipment functionality.
Budgeting & Documentation
Prepare production budgets, BOQs, and cost comparison sheets.
Track consumption, approvals, and ensure cost control without compromising on quality.
Maintain production documentation, technical checklists, and post-event reports.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management / Technical Production or related field.
Certifications in sound, light, AV, or event production is an added advantage.
Ability to read technical drawings, floor plans, and stage layouts.
Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.
