About the Role

We are looking for a Content Executive (Jr. Creative Producer) to support the creation of high-quality content for our app. This role is for someone who is highly creative, trend-aware, and execution-focused, and can help produce content with a high shareability and virality quotient.

You will work closely with the Creative Producer, writers, editors, and design team to take ideas from trend → concept → script → production → publish-ready content.

Key Responsibilities

1) Content Research & Trend Tracking

- Track daily trends across Instagram, You Tube Shorts, Twitter/X, and pop culture/news cycles.
- Identify viral formats, hooks, and storytelling styles that can be adapted for Binge content.
- Maintain a trend tracker with:
- format references
- viral hooks
- audio/meme trends
- competitor benchmarking

2) Ideation & Format Development

- Contribute ideas for short-form and binge-worthy content formats such as:
- listicles in video form
- explainers and breakdowns
- quick debates / hot takes
- quizzes / interactive formats
- “top moments” / “must know” formats
- Assist in building repeatable series concepts and weekly themes.

3) Scripting & Storyboarding Support

- Assist in writing scripts that are optimized for:
- strong hooks in the first 1–2 seconds
- retention and pacing
- clear storytelling
- share-worthy punchlines
- Create storyboards / shot lists and help with production notes.

4) Production Coordination

- Support day-to-day production tasks including:
- shoot coordination
- prop/asset planning
- scheduling talent/hosts
- managing shot requirements
- Ensure smooth execution during shoots (on-ground or remote).

5) Post-Production Support & Packaging

- Work with editors to ensure content is:
- tight, high-energy, and retention-driven
- optimized for vertical-first viewing
- captioned correctly and styled consistently
- Assist in packaging content with:
- titles
- thumbnails/cover frames
- captions and descriptions
- cutdowns and variants (15s/30s/45s)

6) Publishing & Content Hygiene

- Ensure content is uploaded correctly with the right metadata, categories, and tags.
- Maintain content calendars and coordinate with teams for timely publishing.
- Ensure basic content hygiene:
- spelling and factual accuracy
- brand tone alignment
- no policy/IP risks

7) Performance Tracking & Iteration

- Track content performance and help analyze:
- watch time
- completion rate
- shares/saves
- comments and sentiment
- Share insights on what’s working and suggest improvements for upcoming content.
- Support A/B testing of hooks, edits, covers, and captions.

Other Tasks

- Build and maintain a “Hook Bank” and “Viral Format Bank”
- Maintain reference folders for:
- top-performing edits
- viral storytelling structures
- sound/meme trends
- Assist in building scalable production workflows and SOPs
- Coordinate with marketing/community teams to highlight top Binge content

Skills & Qualifications

- 2–5 years experience in content, media, digital video, or social platforms (internships count)
- Strong interest in short-form video, internet culture, and viral content
- Good writing and scripting skills (clear, punchy, structured)
- Basic understanding of editing and video production workflows
- Comfortable working with fast deadlines and high output expectations
