Role Description

We are looking for a highly aesthetic, design-led Visual Merchandiser & Visual Content Lead to craft the visual world of our super-premium linen brand.

You will shape how customers see, feel, and experience the brand —photoshoots, social media, website, and e-commerce.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Visual Merchandiser based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

1. Visual Merchandising & Retail Experience

- Create aspirational lifestyle settings (bedroom, dining, kitchen, living)
- Develop VM guidelines and playbooks for consistency across stores
- Collaborate with ecomm teams to enhance customer journey and conversion

2. Photography & Content Creation

- Plan and execute high-quality lifestyle shoots
- Style products with props, lighting, and textures to create premium imagery
- Shoot and deliver content for:
- Social media
- Website
- E-commerce listings
- Campaigns
- Handle editing, retouching, and post-production
- Maintain consistent visual language across all content

3. Creative Direction & Brand Identity

- Translate brand positioning into a strong visual identity
- Develop mood boards, look books, and seasonal themes
- Lead art direction for shoots and campaigns
- Work closely with marketing & design teams on creatives
- Build a cohesive “brand world” across offline + online touchpoints

4. AI & Digital Creativity

- Use AI tools to create:
- Styled imagery
- Concept renders
- Mood boards
- Backgrounds/environments
- Blend real photography with AI-assisted production to improve speed & efficiency
- Experiment with new visual formats (Reels, motion, CGI, generative visuals)

Skills & Competencies Required

Core Skills

- Strong creative instinct & refined aesthetic sense
- Deep understanding of design, color, textures, and composition
- Professional photography skills (camera + lighting mastery)
- Styling & art direction capability
- Image retouching & editing skills

Technical Skills

- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Photography equipment & studio setup
- AI image tools (Midjourney / Firefly / Stable Diffusion / similar)
- E-commerce content optimization knowledge

Experience

- 3–7 years in
- - Visual merchandising
- Lifestyle/product photography
- Premium retail or home/lifestyle/fashion brands
- Exposure to premium/luxury brand aesthetics preferred
- Experience creating lifestyle narratives (not just packshots)

Qualification

- Degree/Diploma in Visual Merchandising / Design / Photography / Fashion Communication / Fine Arts or related field
