Be on the ground to cover breaking news and important events.
Investigate leads and follow up on news tips.
Uphold journalistic integrity and adhere to ethical reporting standards.
Maintain detailed notes and audio recordings for accuracy.
Collaborate with editors, journalists, and media producers.
Build and sustain a network of contacts and sources for future reporting.
Stay up to date with current affairs by reviewing news sources and attending key events.

Requirements & Skills
Proven experience as a

Journalist

or

Reporter

with a portfolio of published work.
Strong ability to meet deadlines and fact-check information rigorously.
Up-to-date knowledge of current news and global affairs.
Proficiency in digital tools, including

MS Office, web research, digital editing, and databases .
Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to extract crucial information.
Strong observational and analytical abilities.
High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
