About the Role
Dentsu Podcast Network is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing podcast episodes and related digital content, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple platforms. The role requires close collaboration with producers, senior editors, and the content team to bring engaging conversations to life through compelling visual storytelling

Key Responsibilities
* Edit long-form podcast episodes for You Tube and other video platforms.
* Create short-form content, reels, teasers, and promotional cuts from podcast episodes.
* Sync and clean audio, ensuring clear and professional-quality output.
* Add graphics, lower thirds, subtitles, transitions, and branding elements as per project requirements.
* Collaborate with producers to understand creative briefs and episode objectives.
* Coordinate with senior editors and team members to ensure timely project delivery.
* Organize and manage project files, footage, assets, and exports.
* Implement feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
* Ensure all deliverables meet Dentsu Podcast Network’s visual and technical guidelines.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
* 2-4 years of professional video editing experience.
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
* Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition.
* Experience editing multi-camera interviews, podcasts, or conversational content.
* Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and content retention techniques.
* Knowledge of video formats, codecs, export settings, and platform-specific requirements.
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience in podcast editing or digital content production.
* Basic motion graphics and animation skills.
* Experience creating content optimized for Instagram, You Tube Shorts, Linked In, and other social platforms.
* Familiarity with AI-powered editing and captioning tools.
