Fashion Designer

Role Description  A qualified Fashion Designer with expertise in Indo-Western clothing for men and women. Male/Female freshers can also apply. Mumbai based people only. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves designing collections, selecting fabrics and textiles, and developing embroidery and detailing that support the visual storytelling of the brand.

The designer will work closely with the founder to prepare sketches and technical drawings, and oversee fittings to ensure high-quality construction and comfort.
Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with vendors and artisans, staying current with fashion trends and consumer preferences, and managing design timelines from concept to final sample. The role also involves providing input on styling for events, photoshoots, and marketing campaigns to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic.

Qualifications
Strong Fashion Design and Fashion concept development skills, with the ability to align designs to brand identity and storytelling.
Hands-on experience with Textiles and Embroidery, including fabric selection, surface ornamentation, and collaborating with craft artisans.
Proficiency in Fitting, garment construction understanding, and attention to detail in pattern adjustments and silhouette refinement.
Ability to sketch and render designs (digital or hand-drawn), and prepare clear technical specifications for sampling and production.
Knowledge of current fashion trends, sustainable and ethical fashion practices, and consumer insights relevant to premium or bespoke wear.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with creative, marketing, and operations teams on-site in Mumbai.
Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in apparel or couture design.
Portfolio demonstrating previous design work, including examples of embroidery, textile exploration, and well-executed fittings.
