Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content optimised for social media, websites, and digital advertising.
Design and produce motion graphics, 2D animations, lower thirds, title sequences, and visual effects that elevate brand storytelling.
Collaborate with the head of design, creative director, and strategists to develop concepts, storyboards, and visual styles for each project.
Ensure all deliverables align with client brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and platform-specific technical specifications.
Manage colour grading, audio mixing, and finishing processes to deliver high-quality output.
Maintain organised project files, asset libraries, and version control throughout the post-production workflow.
Incorporate client and internal feedback, iterating quickly while maintaining creative quality.
Stay current with trends in video production, motion design, social media formats, and digital marketing.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing with demonstrable motion graphics work.
Prior experience in a digital marketing agency, production house, or in-house brand team is strongly preferred.
A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video and motion graphics projects is mandatory.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing.
Strong command of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, visual effects, and animated content.
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for asset creation and preparation.
Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve for colour grading is an added advantage.
Understanding of video codecs, export formats, and platform delivery requirements (Instagram, You Tube, Meta Ads, etc.).
Soft Skills & Attributes:
Excellent creative and visual storytelling ability with a sharp eye for detail, pacing, and aesthetics.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple briefs simultaneously without compromising quality.
Effective communicator who can translate creative briefs into visual output and articulate design decisions clearly.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Receptive to feedback and able to implement revisions efficiently.
