Graphic Design Manager

3 MONTH's CONTRACT ROLE

Role Scope/

Summary:

The AI Graphics & Design Manager is responsible for driving AI-enabled visual design and creative asset development across BCCL’s brands, advertiser solutions, and new business ventures. The role exists to transform how visual creatives are conceptualized, designed, adapted, and scaled by leveraging AI as a creative force multiplier, while ensuring strong design aesthetics, brand consistency, originality, and audience impact.
Reporting into the Head – AI Creative, the role will lead the creation of high-quality visual assets across multiple formats including campaign creatives, social media assets, print creatives, branded content, event communication, digital marketing collaterals, editorial-led visual storytelling, and advertiser-facing design solutions. The incumbent will work closely with Brand, Response, Times Experiences, Editorial, and the Product &Technology (P&T) organization to build scalable AI-assisted design workflows that significantly improve creative agility, adaptation speed, production efficiency, and creative experimentation.

Experience:

7–10 years of experience in visual design, graphic design, creative communication, branded content, digital design, or integrated creative studio environments, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-impact visual storytelling and brand-led creative work across formats and platforms.
Proven experience in conceptualizing and delivering creative design solutions for brands, digital platforms, advertisers, media organizations, agencies, or content-led businesses in fast-paced, high-output environments.
Strong hands-on exposure to AI-powered design and creative tools across areas such as image generation, visual enhancement, creative adaptation, layouting, typography exploration, prompt-led visual creation, motion assisted design, and automated asset production workflows.
Experience working across multiple creative formats including social media creatives, digital campaigns, print communication, event branding, branded content assets, presentations, editorial visuals, and platform-native creative ecosystems.
Demonstrated ability to combine strong creative aesthetics and visual storytelling capabilities with scalable, technology-enabled design workflows.
Prior exposure to media, digital content, advertising, creative agencies, branded content studios, or new-age creator ecosystems would be preferred.

Educational

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Design, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related creative discipline.
Specialized certifications, programs, or hands-on exposure in AI-powered design tools, generative AI platforms, creative automation, motion design, or digital visual communication would be an added advantage.
Strong practical exposure to contemporary design ecosystems, digital creative platforms, and AI-assisted creative workflows will be preferred over purely academic credentials.
Formal education will be valued; however, portfolio strength, visual storytelling capability, creative thinking, technological adaptability, and demonstrated body of work will take precedence over academic pedigree alone.
