Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced  Video Editor  to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing for advertising, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling. As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our creative directors, producers, and other team members to craft compelling video content for digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing:  Edit and assemble high-quality video content from raw footage, ensuring it aligns with the creative vision and brand guidelines.
Creative

Collaboration:

Collaborate with the creative team, including directors, producers, and designers, to bring ideas to life and ensure the final product meets client expectations.
Storytelling:  Utilize your strong storytelling abilities to craft engaging narratives that resonate with the target audience.
Post-production:  Handle post-production tasks, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects to create polished, professional videos.
Client Interaction:  Work directly with clients to understand their vision and feedback, ensuring the final product meets their needs and expectations.
Project Management:  Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high quality.
Mentorship:  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior video editors, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their craft.
Trends &

Innovation:  Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that our video content remains fresh and innovative.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in an advertising or creative agency setting.
Software Proficiency:  Expert in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.

Experience with motion graphics and 3D animation is a plus.
Portfolio:  A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work, including digital and social media content, brand videos, and advertising campaigns.
Creative Vision:  Strong understanding of pacing, composition, and visual storytelling. Ability to think creatively and problem-solve.
Attention to Detail:  Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of video production, from editing to color correction and audio mixing.
Communication

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate creative concepts and feedback clearly.
Team Player:  Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of creatives, clients, and stakeholders.
Time Management:  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 3D animation and visual effects.
Background in motion graphics and design.
Knowledge of cinematography and camera equipment.
Familiarity with video encoding and compression techniques for various platforms (social media, digital).
