Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Print Designer at Pivot Apparel. The Senior Print Designer will be responsible for creating and implementing print designs, graphics, branding elements, and textiles for various apparel products. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with teams, creating visual concepts, and ensuring brand consistency.

Responsibilities:
Print Adaptation:
Recolor and modify existing prints to meet the specific requirements of various accounts and clients while preserving the design integrity.
Production Coordination:
Collaborate with the production team to send finalized print artwork to vendors for production.
Artwork Transformation:
Adapt artwork for CAD presentations and other design-related purposes.
Original Artwork Creation:
Generate original artwork, both hand-painted and digitally, to support product design needs.
Pattern Design:
Create seamless and visually appealing repeats of artwork.
Color Separation:
Apply color separation techniques for screen printing to ensure accurate and high-quality prints.
Factory-Ready Artwork:
Develop comprehensive artwork files that are production-ready, including color specifications, repeat patterns, and scaling information.
Pantone Library Management:
Maintain and update the Pantone color library for consistent and accurate color selections.
Team

Collaboration:

Collaborate with the TUKA and IT teams and actively participate in print studio meetings.
Print Library Management:
Organize and manage the print library to ensure easy accessibility and retrieval of design assets.
File Management:
Create, save, and organize JPEG files in appropriate artwork folders.
Factory Communication:
Work directly with factory partners to address art-related issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in print design, preferably in the retail and apparel industry
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design software
Excellent color theory and composition skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of screen printing techniques

Experience with pattern design and repeat creation
