Creative / Design
Experience:
2–5 years
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join the Soulflower team, with a strong focus on packaging, labels, and product artwork. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics, typography, colour, and print production, along with the ability to translate brand ideas into compelling on-pack designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop product packaging, labels, boxes, sleeves, cartons, stickers, inserts, and other print collaterals.
Create artwork for new product launches and refresh existing packaging in line with brand guidelines.
Develop multiple design concepts and execute designs from concept to final print-ready artwork.
Work closely with the Brand, Product, Marketing, and Production teams to understand requirements and timelines.
Prepare accurate print-ready files, including dielines, bleeds, colour specifications, barcodes, legal text, and other production requirements.
Coordinate with printers and vendors to ensure colour, material, finishes, and final output meet design standards.
Ensure consistency across the entire product range while maintaining strong shelf appeal.
Adapt artwork across different pack sizes, SKUs, variants, and formats.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Stay updated on packaging design trends, typography, materials, finishes, and print techniques.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in FMCG, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or D2C brands.
Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and label design.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Good understanding of printing processes, colour management, dielines, substrates, and finishing techniques.
Strong typography, layout, colour, and visual composition skills.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly with packaging copy and artwork specifications.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong sense of brand aesthetics and consumer-focused design thinking.
Good to Have
Experience working on beauty, personal care, skincare, aromatherapy, or natural/wellness products.
Knowledge of packaging materials and premium print finishes such as embossing, foiling, spot UV, textures, and specialty papers.
Basic knowledge of product photography, image editing, and digital creatives.
Experience working with printers, packaging vendors, and production teams.
What We’re Looking For
Someone who can combine creative thinking with production accuracy —a designer who understands that great packaging needs to look beautiful on the shelf while also being technically perfect for production.
