About Auto Manch
Auto Manch is a dedicated automobile vertical under Money Manch , focused on bringing viewers the latest and most relevant news, developments, trends, and stories from the automobile industry.
We are looking for a Producer-Anchor who can take ownership of stories from research and ideation to scripting, production, and on-camera presentation .
Key Responsibilities
1. Story Research & Development
Research daily automobile-related news, developments, launches, announcements, and trending topics.
Identify interesting and relevant stories that can be converted into engaging video content.
Track automobile manufacturers, EV companies, startups, government policies, industry developments, and automotive trends.
Monitor competitor channels, websites, social media, and other relevant sources for story ideas.
Verify facts and information before publishing any story.
2. Content & Script Writing
Develop original story ideas suitable for You Tube and other digital platforms.
Write clear, engaging, and factually accurate scripts for news videos.
Convert complex automobile/industry information into simple and understandable content for viewers.
Prepare strong introductions, hooks, headlines, and story structures to improve viewer retention.
Write scripts for breaking news, explainers, launches, industry updates, comparisons, and other automotive content.
3. Anchoring & Presentation
Anchor and present automobile news and stories on camera.
Deliver scripts confidently, clearly, and naturally.
Develop an engaging on-camera personality suitable for a digital news platform.
Present both short-form and long-form content as required.
Be comfortable appearing on camera regularly for Auto Manch's videos.
4. Production Coordination
Coordinate with the video production, camera, graphics, and editing teams to ensure timely completion of stories.
Participate in shoot planning and provide inputs on visuals, B-roll, graphics, and supporting footage required for each story.
Coordinate interviews with automobile industry professionals, experts, dealers, manufacturers, and other relevant personalities.
Assist in planning outdoor shoots, automobile events, launches, press conferences, and vehicle-related assignments.
5. Automobile Content
The candidate should be able to develop content around topics such as:
New car and motorcycle launches
EVs and electric mobility
Automobile technology
Vehicle reviews and features
Car/bike comparisons
Prices, variants, features, and specifications
Automobile industry news
Company announcements and developments
Government automobile policies and regulations
Fuel prices and mobility trends
Road safety and traffic-related developments
Automotive startups
Motorsport and automobile events
Consumer-focused automobile stories
Trending and viral automotive topics
6. Digital & Social Media Content
Understand what type of automobile stories perform well on You Tube and social media.
Suggest ideas for Shorts/Reels and other short-form content.
Work closely with the social media team to repurpose stories across platforms.
Stay updated with current digital content trends and audience interests.
Required Skills
Excellent Hindi and English communication skills.
Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
Good on-camera presence and confidence.
Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
Ability to understand automobile-related topics and explain them simply.
Good knowledge of the Indian automobile market.
Ability to identify newsworthy and trending stories.
Good voice modulation and presentation skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong coordination and teamwork skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced digital media environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
Prior experience as a Producer, Video Journalist, News Anchor, Automobile Content Creator, or Digital Journalist will be preferred.
