Job Summary

The restaurant hostess is responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience by welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling feedback, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction at the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

- Warmly welcome and greet all guests upon arrival
- Manage table reservations and waiting lists efficiently
- Coordinate with the service and kitchen team to ensure smooth guest flow
- Understand guest preferences and ensure personalized service
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied throughout their visit
- Maintain guest feedback records and share inputs with management
- Assist during peak hours to manage crowd flow and guest expectations
- Promote restaurant offerings, events, and special menus
- Ensure grooming standards and service etiquette are followed

Desired Candidate Profile

- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as GRE / Hostess / Guest Services in a restaurant or hospitality setup
- Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi; Marathi preferred)
- Pleasing personality with a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to handle pressure during busy service hours
- Basic knowledge of POS/reservation systems is an advantage
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays

Educational Qualification

- A graduate or Diploma in Hotel management/hospitality is preferred
- Freshers with good communication skills may also be considered
