Manager – Offshore Catering Operations
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manager – Offshore Catering Operations to lead and oversee catering and hospitality services across offshore operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality, service standards, operational efficiency, budget control, and compliance with health, safety, and client requirements while managing multidisciplinary teams in offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end offshore catering and hospitality operations.
Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, safety, and customer service.
Plan, monitor, and control operational budgets, costs, and resource utilization.
Lead, motivate, and develop offshore catering teams to achieve operational excellence.
Coordinate with clients, offshore management, vendors, and support functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor inventory, procurement, and logistics to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and offshore HSE regulations.
Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive productivity, cost optimization, and client satisfaction while meeting contractual service levels.
Qualifications
MBA or Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in offshore catering, remote-site catering, or hospitality operations.
Strong knowledge of food service operations, hospitality management, and catering best practices.
Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance management.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural offshore environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting tools is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in offshore oil & gas, marine, energy, or remote-site catering operations.
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP), HSE requirements, and quality management systems.
Experience managing large teams and multi-site operations is an advantage.
